Therapy & Counselling in Mill Hill and Camden
A holistic approach to therapy is vital to healing, growth and change. Together, we’ll work towards heightened understanding and awareness of how you live and relate to others in terms of your emotional, cognitive, bodily, social and ‘spiritual’ needs.
I aim to provide a safe and respectful space for you and I to explore difficult feelings about how present or past relationships, break-ups, grief, or trauma, may be affecting you day to day.
Why Therapy?
I believe therapy is an important support to everyday life for everyone. I work alongside you to understand and guide you to find inner resources. In an alliance built on trust you and I will work together to settle inner uncertainties or relationship struggles and find positive ways forward.

The Best You
Life may seem hard for you at the moment, frequent low moods, anxious feelings, bad relations at home or at work or both. Or you may just want to gain personal insight and work on your personal growth and development.
I believe we all have an innate drive towards finding well-being and fulfilment and I trust in my clients’ potential and all that a person can become.
A Phone Call Away
Are you looking to start individual or couples counselling?
It can be a daunting prospect to share personal thoughts, feelings and difficulties in your relationships with someone you know little about.
Call or email me to organise a free introductory 15 mins session by phone or online when you can explain your situation and we can explore how I might be able to help you.
Alternatively, I’m happy to arrange to meet for an initial exploratory consultation in my rooms at the Gestalt Centre in Camden/Kings Cross, or at Mill Hill.
Relationship/ Couples Counselling
If you are experiencing difficulties in your relationships as a couple or individual such as communication breakdown, recurring conflict, loss of intimacy, and the impact of life transitions.
My approach is grounded in my experience as a therapist and informed by my current specialist training in relationship and couples counselling. I work in a relational and collaborative way, helping you to slow things down, understand patterns between you, and find new ways of being heard and understood.
Whether you attend as a couple or bring relationship concerns individually, I aim to provide a thoughtful, supportive space where meaningful change can begin.
"We cannot choose to have a life free of hurt. But we can choose to be free, to escape the past, no matter what befalls us, and to embrace the possible."
E. E. Igor
My Approach
I provide a safe confidential space where you and I explore difficult feelings, relationship challenges and I support you in gaining enhanced awareness of how past and present situations, break-ups, grief or traumas may be affecting you from day to day.
As our work progresses your heightened awareness will help identify choices going forward and promote renewed energy, motivation and recovery.
An element of our work together will be an exploration of how you live and relate in your life or your couple in terms of your emotional, bodily, cognitive, social and ‘spiritual’ needs.
Practical Information
I consider the therapeutic relationship in the present moment (or how you and I work together) as an essential constituent to the healing process. I offer a no-cost 15 minute phone call for you to ask questions about me or my practice before arranging an initial assessment session.
In the assessment session we will explore your current difficulties, some brief history and what aims you have and changes you hope to make. This will also be an important opportunity to check how well you and I could work together.
My clients are protected by the GDPR/Data Protection Act 2018 and the ethical standards of the UKCP the body that regulates the practice of psychotherapists and counsellors.
I work in person in Camden NW1, NW7 and also online by Zoom. Depending on your situation therapy can be a long-term process of several years, or perhaps you may have a short-term need which may just span a limited period of 12-15 weeks.
Background
I worked for over 20 years in the international leadership and management development industry and during this time witnessed how the Humanistic and Gestalt approach is a highly effective philosophy to promote human growth, change and development. Gradually I deepened the scope of my work as an executive coach as I trained to become a psychotherapist.
In my therapeutic practice I have worked since 2015 with clients in the NHS, leading therapy groups for Age UK Camden Counselling service and recently completed several years of client work with CITHE, a team of international therapists abroad.
Currently in private practice in Mill Hill and Camden since 2021.
